Ryan Taylor
Owner, Tailored Strength
Philosophy: Strength training is the vehicle used to unify and nurture the neverending pursuit to better oneself, both inside and out.
Specialty: Strength and power training. It’s in the name—I’ll build you something completely tailored to get you really strong. I’m going to double-down on your weaknesses and build on your strengths. You will become the strongest version of yourself.
Types of Coaching Available: One-on-One, Partner, Semi-Private, Online
Certifications/Education: Bachelors of Science degrees in both Kinesiology and Human Nutrition from Kansas State University; Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS); Precision Nutrition Level 1; American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer; Level 1 Coach- (Pn1), FRC Mobility Specialist - (FRCms), CPPS (Certified Physical Preparation Specialist), EXOS Performance Specialist, FMS Level 1, Power Plate Level 1, and American Red Cross CPR/AED.
What You Can Expect: To understand why you’re doing a movement and how to do it correctly; a multi-faceted training protocol that progresses safely; and a deep dive into the latest movie releases, stories about my cat, and our favorite restaurants. You will get homework, you will learn how to read a program, and you’ll gain confidence to do everything we do together on your own.
Favorite Exercise: The deadlift because the style can be unique for everyone based on anatomy, training experience, and restrictions. Plus, everyone benefits from the primal movement of picking heavy things up and sitting them back down.
Least Favorite Exercise: I don’t have a least favorite exercise—it completely depends. I’d say my “least favorite” is any movement that wastes valuable resources (i.e. energy, neurological drive) that could be better utilized towards your primary goal.
You Should Know That: Strength training is much like my favorite spirit, Bourbon. It’s all about the process. To enjoy the end result, you must embrace the process and put the time in. It’s all worth it in the end!
Drew Miles
Philosophy: Lets bring the champ out in you. You put in the work, and you will get results. But no one said it would be easy.

What You Can Expect: My focus first is to make sure you are safely knowledgeable of the movements we are demanding from your body. Move Safe, Move Strong, Move Fast. Effort is expected to be given both ways from myself and the client. Making sure each session is educational, and we can get the best out of you.
Favorite Exercise: Squat or Bench Press
Least Favorite Exercise: Any Plank Variation
You Should Know That: I love you!
Joe Endzel
Philosophy: I like two quotes that just about sum everything up: "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." and “Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers equal to your tasks.”

Types of Coaching Available: One-on-one and Semi-Private

What You Can Expect: Steady progress towards goals. Bad coach jokes.

Gabe Jones
Philosophy: Health is wealth
Specialty: basketball skills training, stretch therapy and sports performance enhancement
Types of Coaching Available: Personal training, Partner Training, Semi-Private Training
Certifications/Education: NASM; Bachelors from Lewis University, currently pursuing Masters in Exercise Science
What You Can Expect: A progression towards your goals, why we are doing things in certain ways at certain times, knowledge of an exercise and the anatomy related to it. This will not just be a personal trainer to client relationship, this can be a therapy session, a great friendship.
Favorite Exercise: Trap Bar Deadlift is my favorite and best lift. It's just a great lift for anyone to use. I've retired from it since I hit my goal of 500+ pounds, but I might come out of retirement if I keep getting my clients stronger and closer to my PR.
Least Favorite Exercise: Any single leg squat variation, me being 6'5 it's just a long way down for me.
You should know that: We are going to work hard and have fun at the same time.
